Detach license methods

There are two ways to detach a license: 

• Online detachment

Used when the second and host computers are connected to the organization's network. 

• Offline detachment

Used when the host computer is connected to the organization's network and the second computer is outside the organization's network.

To detach the license, it must be:

1. Network
2. Detachable

   • On the host computer, select the Orders menu item.

   • Click Add Order.

   • Select a customer.

   • Enter the activation time period.

   • Enter the number of serial numbers.

   • Add a product.

   • Change feature settings.

     Click the triangle to the left of the feature name. A list of settings will open.

     Select the required settings:

     • Set the Network license distribution switch to the Enabled position;
     • Set the Allow to detach net licenses switch to the Enabled position.

   • Click Submit Order.

   • On the order page, in the Serial number line, two links are displayed:

     Download [number] numbers — used to download a file with serial numbers;
     Copy to clipboard — used to copy serial numbers to the clipboard (use when there is only one serial number).

     Click on one of these links. As a result, the file with serial numbers will be saved on your computer or the serial numbers will be copied to the clipboard.

     Activate the received serial number via the Guardant License Wizard

To detach licenses on the host and second computers, you need to check GCC settings on these computers.
