This procedure is necessary to allow the user to work with the license outside the organization's network for a specified amount of time.

This option is supported only for software keys Guardant DL!

GCC version 3.0.0.0 was published on July 12, 2022.

Detachment is possible if the GCC version is 3.0.0.0 and higher, as well as keys in the DL 3 format.

If your computer has a lower GCC version and keys in DL 2, then update them. The GCC update procedure is described in the installation section  (it is necessary just to install the new version), the key update procedure is described in a special section describing the key update process.

Detachment is possible:

  • for the software products licenses and their features that were created in Guardant Station and activated using the activation utility after the new GCC 3.0.0.0 version publication date;
  • for a product feature or features in Guardant Station for which a network license resource has been added (the value in the Network Licenses section must be greater than 0);
  • for a product feature or features in Guardant Station for which the "Allow to detach net licenses" setting is enabled.

You can detach the entire product with all its features or one or more of its features.

Further, the computer from which the license is detached will be referred to as the host computer, and the computer on which the license will be used for a limited time will be referred to as the second computer.
