The Guardant network dongles are designed to provide protection and licensing of network applications. Licensing refers to a limited number of client applications working in the LAN simultaneously. The purpose of licensing is to restrict the launches of client applications exceeding the number permitted by the developer. The license resource is recorded by the developer into the network dongle’s memory. It is sufficient to use one Guardant network dongle across an entire local area network (LAN) for protecting and licensing a network product.
